The following are some random pictures of missionaries taken during lunch with Elder & Sis. Wilson. We certainly were well fed both physically and spiritually during our meetings with Elder Wilson.
Elder Larry Y. Wilson and his wife came to visit the AZ Scottsdale Mission. We split the conference into two days and half the mission came one day and the other half came the second day. Then on day 3, Elder Wilson held an MLC with all our zone leaders and sister training leaders. Elder Wilson taught us how to effectively use the Book of Mormon in our proselyting efforts. Attached are the group pictures taken on both days.
Elder Jenkins completed his mission August 28, 2017. He served valiantly as an assistant for the last several months. He has been a joy and a delight to have in this mission. He is respected by his fellow missionaries as being trustworthy, thoughtful, unselfish and an outstanding missionary who exemplified great skill and strength of testimony in fulfilling his missionary purpose. We will be forever grateful to have known him!
Elder White completed his mission the last day of July. We will miss him and his enthusiasm for the work. Good luck Elder White!
August 11, 2017 we had to say goodbye to the Bakers and the Espinozas. These two couples served as MLS missionaries. The Bakers, from St. George were with us for 12 months. The Espinozas, from Bremerton, WA, have been here for 18 mos. The wards they served in will really miss these two outstanding couples. And we will too.
President & Sister Robinson have been out in the mission field for 14 months and it continues to get more and more difficult to say goodbye to these young wonderful missionaries as they complete their missions. This group of 14 represent what is wonderful, noble and inspiring in this great force of young missionaries. We love them like they are our own. We are so proud of what they have accomplished in 18-24 months and who they have become. Well done to this faithful and courageous group.
